Este artículo constituye una breve aproximación al escenario político en el que se encuentran inmersos los jóvenes pertenecientes a la “generación #”; se exponen sus características y se analiza de qué manera el campo político se ve afectado por el campo mediático. Asimismo, se examinan los hábitos naturalizados de los jóvenes en una sociedad hipermediatizada y glocalizada. El presente documento se inscribe dentro del proyecto de investigación “Jóvenes y política. Estudio sobre los universitarios limeños”, que auspicia el Instituto de Investigación Científica (IDIC) de la Universidad de Lima.

This article is situated in the galloping rise of a conservatism that seeks to mold society according to moral standards based on a rigid religiosity that advocates the defense of the «traditional family», the fight against homosexualization of children, and communism. The main actors have been collectives that call themselves Pro-family and Pro-life and have a close relationship with ultra-conservative religious groups; being the Evangelical-Neopentecostals who have led these movements. Thus, it is assumed that these groups have a religious substratum based on the political theology of neo-Pentecostalism. Considering the lack of digital ethnographic research on this phenomenon, this paper seeks to delve into the ideal of society that the Facebook followers of these collectives want for Peru and the (dis)connections that may exist between them and Peruvian Neo-Pentecostalism.

It is also considered that this type of representation of otherness is accompanied by a certain theory of truth, which establishes hierarchies regarding who can belong to the group, what type of knowledge is valid, what forms of spirituality is accepted, among other differentiations between “We” and “Them”. La tecnología está ligada al progreso: facilita procesos y cumple una serie de retos para mejorar la calidad de vida. Con el auge de las economías del conocimiento y el incremento del acceso a las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) en nuestra vida diaria, su presencia en la educación se ha convertido en un tema indiscutible. Esto ha generado problemas vinculados al sentido de esta integración: definir el rol que las TIC cumplen en el proceso formativo resulta prioritario para el diseño de cualquier política pública.
