Los odontomas son los tumores odontogénicos benignos y asintomáticos más comunes en los maxilares. Generalmente el diagnóstico y tratamiento ocurren entre la segunda y tercera década de la vida. El propósito del caso que presentamos explica que el diagnóstico precoz se puede obtener desde los primeros años de vida con la interpretación de los antecedentesanamnésicos, la evaluación clínica y radiográfica oportuna para realizar el tratamiento temprano de los odontomas, con el objetivo de evitar en los pacientes complicaciones y secuelas a futuro como la retención dentaria, reabsorción o dilaceración radicular, expansión ósea, formación quística y sus recurrencias. Objective: To determine the impact of Minimal Intervention Techniques (MIT) on the body mass index (BMI) of preschool children with early childhood caries (CIT). Material and Methods: Intervention, relational and longitudinal study. A random sample of 31 was obtained from a population of 100 pre-school children of both sexes and ages 3 to 5 who met the inclusion criteria. Anthropometric measurements were recorded: height- weight and BMI at the beginning, 6 and 12 months. The soft tissue oral examination revealed color changes and gingivitis; in hard tissues alterations of structure, chronology, sequence of eruption and the ceo-d index was applied; clinical evaluations were at baseline and at 12 months. Objective: To determine the related factors of the premature loss of deciduous teeth in schoolchildren from poor households. Materials and methods: observational, prospective, cross-sectional and relational study; the estimated population was 1617 schoolchildren of both sexes from 6 to 10 years old with a stratified random sample of 180 children. Approval No. 513-FO-2019 was obtained from the Ethics Committee of the Universidad Católica Santa Maria. In the clinical examination, the index of the International Caries Detection and Control System (ICDAS II), Pulpitis, Ulcer, Fistula, abscess (PUFA-pufa) and diet were evaluated through the Lipari and Andrade questionnaire. Objective: To determine the impact of caries and dental trauma on the quality of life of pre-school children and their families. Material and Methods: Observational, cross-sectional study in 150 pre-school children from 3 to 5 years old of both genders of urban and marginal urban educational institutions. The parents signed the consent and answered the socio-economic file and the ECOHIS questionnaire (Early Childhood Oral Health Impact Scale) according to the perception of oral health related Quality of Life (QoL) of their children. Three examiners were calibrated, intra and inter-examiner agreement was measured, the result was Kappa 0.9.
