Objetivo: Determinar la asociación que existe entre el nivel de miedo, ansiedad y Burnout en odontólogos que laboran en tiempos de pandemia por el COVID-19. Método: El estudio tiene un diseño observacional, prospectivo y transversal; se utilizaron los cuestionarios Escala de miedo al COVID-19, Escala de Ansiedad Generalizada (GAD 7), Maslash Burnout Inventory-General Survey; la muestra estuvo constituida por 227 odontólogos. Resultados: El miedo, ansiedad y Burnout es preponderante entre las personas entre 20 a 35 años y del sexo femenino. También se encontró que existe asociación entre el Burnout con el miedo y la ansiedad, más no se encontró asociación entre el miedo y la ansiedad. Conclusiones: El COVID-19 está teniendo un impacto muy negativo en la salud mental de los odontólogos peruanos.

 Objective: To determine the diagnosis and therapeutic management of odontogenic infections in patients treated in a Peruvian hospital. Materials and methods: The study was descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional, non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. A total of 4968 operative reports were collected, from which 142 medical records that met the inclusion criteria were reviewed: medical records of patients who received treatment in the oral and maxillofacial surgery service of the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital (HNHU), and who had a diagnosis of odontogenic infection.
