Objective: Demonstrate that corporate governance practices related to the involvement of the board of directors and the Chief executive officer (CEO) in the business strategy and the control environment, influence the profitability of companies; Similarly, demonstrate that the practices related to access to information affect the preservation of the value of the shares of companies listed on the Lima Stock Exchange, 2014-2018. Demuestra que los principios de gobierno corporativo ha generado un grado de influencia en la rentabilidad financiera así como en la preservación del valor de las empresas del IBGC en el período 2014-2018 y, tuvo como marco teórico los beneficios que generan a los accionistas que invierten en las empresas al proponer como aspecto fundamental que las organizaciones sean gestionadas de manera eficiente y transparente.
