Objetivo: Determinar la validez del Índice neutrófilo-linfocito como pronóstico de mortalidad en enfermedad cerebrovascular isquémica. Materiales y métodos: En el presente estudio de diseño no experimental, transversal y de pruebas pronósticas se revisaron 283 historias clínicas de pacientes hospitalizados por enfermedad cerebrovascular isquémica en el Hospital Luis Heysen Incháustegui de Chiclayo, en el período 2019-2023; se repartió a los pacientes según mortalidad y supervivencia y se registró el valor INL al ingreso, además de características sociodemográficas y análisis clínicos de laboratorio. Owing to the frequent popular use of vegetal species Plantago major L, commonly known as "Llantén" in the treatment of digestive alterations and other inflammations, we sought to investigate the effect of decoct of the leaves of Plantago major L. in intestinal inflammation induced in Rattus rattus albinus var. For this purpose we designed a experimental study in vivo considered 6 groups: White Group, Control, Standard and Problem I, II and III.
