Abstract: WHOQOL-OLD is an instrument designed by the WHO to measure quality of life in older adults. Objective: To validate the WHOQOL-OLD module to evaluate the quality of life of people cared for in organizations for the Elderly in the Miraflores district. Method: The study has a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach. The sample design is probabilistic and a sample size of 325 elderly people randomly selected from the three Elderly Care Centers in the district of Miraflores. To validate the WHOQOL-OLD module, the structural equation model was used in three stages detailed in the document. Based on the study of students’ perception of the undergraduate teaching activity of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the National University of San Marcos in the second semester of 2017, which focused on topics such as: knowledge of the subject, attendance and punctuality, ethics, didactic capacity and compliance of the syllabus among others; the presentation of a personalized report to the teacher is proposed, where each one of his students is located in different scenarios, which have been determined through the use of classification and regression trees of data mining. In order to identify patterns through which the teacher is valued (virtues and weaknesses) and thus collaborate with the improvement of the teaching quality of the Faculty.

La Organización Mundial de la Salud, dentro de sus planes de mejora sobre la calidad de vida del adulto mayor, ha creado un instrumento para cuantificarla y con ello poder entender sus necesidades; por otro lado, al hablar de Funcionabilidad Cotidiana se hace referencia al conjunto de habilidades físicas, mentales y sociales que permiten al adulto mayor, realizar actividades que exige su día a día. El presente trabajo determina y cuantifica la existencia de la relación del nivel de dependencia de funcionalidad de las actividades cotidianas y la calidad de vida en adultos mayores.
