El estudio presenta una revisión narrativa sobre la resistencia antimicrobiana en cepas de Campylobacter spp aisladas de canes y vísceras de animales destinados al consumo humano. Se revisaron 1067 artículos sobre resistencia a antibióticos en cepas de Campylobacter spp publicados entre 2012 a 2022 y recuperados de bases de datos como PubMed y SciELO de las que se seleccionaron 26 artículos. La prevalencia de Campylobacter spp varió según el tipo de muestra, país y especie, siendo más alta en carne cruda de aves (pollo y pavo). Los estudios revelaron altas frecuencias de resistencia en quinolonas, fluoroquinolonas, tetraciclinas y otros antibióticos. La resistencia a macrólidos, aminoglucósidos y algunos antibióticos fue más baja, con excepciones en aislamientos de bovinos y cerdos.
