ABSTRACT The study had as aim to make a preliminary analysis of the psychometric properties of the Questionnaire of Physical Self-Concept (CAF). The sample consisted of 354 adolescents, male (63%) and women (37%), who practice taekwondo in five specialized academies of the city of Trujillo (Peru), whose ages range between 12 and 19 years of age with a mean age was 15.36 (SD = 2.10), selected from non-probabilistic way. The results indicate that the CAF, in the sample studied, has a different to the original structure, measuring a dimension of overall physical self-concept consists of three specific dimensions, also observed, good estimates of reliability for the overall scale (ω = .95) and the three factors obtained (78-92).
