The present research work aimed to determine the socio-economic causes that limit private investment in Chazuta district. The method used according to its nature and its objectives is deductive and analytic, basic descriptive eye-test not experimental design was used. The sample was formed by 18 formal entrepreneurs registered in the tourism business and according to the small number of the unit of analysis it was decided to consider the sample equal in number to the population, therefore worked with the whole universe. The instruments used were: questionnaire's degree of knowledge about investment and tourism, guide interview directed to a representative of the district municipality of Chazuta and the non-participating direct observation.
