The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors: physical violence in childhood, type of crime, time in prison, educational level, marital status, nationality, age, previous employment status and satisfaction in the services of health in inmates of the Trujillo Prison, 2022. The methodology used corresponded to the quantitative approach; basic type; crosscorrelational non-experimental design; hypothetical-deductive method; survey technique; as instruments, two questionnaires were used; oriented to a probabilistic sample of 257 inmates of the Trujillo Prison. The results showed that, at a level of 0.05, in Pearson's R correlation, only a p-value > 0.05 was obtained for all sociodemographic factors, there is no correlation, for which accepts the null hypothesis.
