The method used in this research is descriptive, quantitative and no experimental. For its realization, the development of a Likert Measuring Scale was required. A first version of the instrument called “Scale of attitudes toward sexual education of children (ACSEX)” was applied to a pilot group, it was presented to the experts judgment and the corresponding statistical analysis was performed; the statistical correlation of items allowed to develop the final version of the instrument with three constructs. A test with a valid construct was obtained and it was individually applied to 243 parents. The majority of the sample examined has a higher education degree and a middle class socioeconomic status. Also, the sample consisted mainly of nuclear families with a small number of members. Among the findings it was found that, both fathers and mothers, have similar attitudes towards sex e...

Bullying is a psychosocial problem at a national level as in other countries, which affects many adolescents and also children. The harassment itself is when the harassment is repetitive and disrupts the normal development of the school. The ethnographic approach was used, based on the naturalistic observation of the school environment. In-depth interviews, focus groups and systematic observations were applied. The general objective was to describe school bullying, coping strategies and the solution prospects used by the educational community (parents, teachers and students) against it. The strategies of confrontation to harassment on the part of the educational authorities were those of minimization and avoidance of this problematic. Among the students, distance and avoidance prevailed as coping strategies. The parents considered as a strategic priority, the control and education grante...

The psychometric properties of the Zarit Caregiver Scale applied to formal and informal caregivers of people with schizophrenia in Peru were evaluated. The internal validity of the Abbreviated Zarit Scale (EZA) was evaluated using the Kuder-Richarson 21 coefficient and a value similar to the EZ scale was obtained (coefficient = ,856).The KMO adequacy measure indicates that there is a high correlation between the items (,816) as well as Bartlett's sphericity test (p<,001). A single factor explains 54.77% of the total variability of the data. In informal caregivers, the reliability of the EZ obtained high internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha coefficient=,908; Spearman-Brown coefficient=,895). The EZ applied to formal and informal caregivers obtained adequate reliability. The EZA with a coefficient of ,879 sensitivity of 88.2% and specificity of 92.3% proved to be a recommendable ins...
