The logistics and storage sector in Peru has experienced significant growth due to increased imports and the trend among companies to outsource their storage processes. This article addresses the challenge of enhancing warehouse efficiency, particularly in the picking and location processes, through a warehouse management model. The methodology employed includes a company diagnosis, Value Stream Mapping, the 5S methodology (a Lean Warehouse Management tool), and Systematic Layout Planning. These approaches aim to improve inventory management and human resource utilization to reduce late order rates.
