Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre apoyo emocional que brinda el profesional de enfermería y el afrontamiento de los padres de pacientes pediátricos posoperados con cardiopatía congénita. Metodología: El estudio corresponde a un diseño no experimental, tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional, de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 44 padres de pacientes pediátricos posoperados con cardiopatía congénita, se utilizó un muestreo no probabilístico. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos instrumentos.
