La Libertad is one of the wealthiest regions in having sources of thermo-mineral waters in the area north of the Peru, there are 8 springs of which in the present thesis presents sources thermal more representative and with the largest number of visitors in the Region including Yanasara (Sánchez Carrión), bathrooms Chimú (Gran Chimú),Cachicadán (Santiago de Chuco) and Huaranchal (Otuzco), which were analyzed in this study, each source 22 determinations between physicochemical properties, were made to content of metals and non-metals. The physico-chemical properties measured for these sources were color, odor, taste, temperature, pH, total and dissolved solids, turbidity and total hardness.
