One of the main challenges for organizational psychology is to analyze the psychological variables that influence on the success of enterprises. Among this variables, personality and leadership are highlighted, and constitute the objects of study in the current review. Personality is addressed through the theory of the Dark Triad, while leadership is examined within the framework of the Trait Theory. The purpose of this is to analyze the impact of the dark triad of personality on organizational leadership. Following the PRISMA guidelines, the review was conducted using databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, Apa PsycNet, Proquest, and Ebsco. The COVID-19 pandemic had a strong impact on mental health. Multiple studies report the alarming prevalence of depression, anxiety, and stress-related conditions due to the lockdown measures. Nevertheless, somatization has been an overlooked topic in current literature despite its strong relationship with most mental health conditions. The aim of this study was to describe the prevalence of somatic symptoms and their associated factors in a sample of 3218 undergraduate students from Lima, Peru. A cross-sectional design was carried out. The prevalence of somatic symptoms was measured with the PHQ-15. Background: the implementation of public health measures such as quarantines and isolation is a useful strategy for disease control; nonetheless, said measures may also have consequences on mental health. Objectives: to describe the prevalence of depression and anxiety symptoms in adults living in Lima Metropolitan Area during the social isolation period due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: items from the Lima Anxiety Scale [EAL-20] and the Depressive Psychopathology Scale [EPD-6] were used in a sample of 565 adults living in Lima Metropolitan Area during the health emergency.
