La Economía Circular (EC) aparece como una propuesta novedosa para tener un sistema productivo que pueda ser menos impactante al ambiente. Llama la atención que siendo un concepto llamado economía la participación de los economistas es bien limitada en este campo, por ello se presenta las raíces del mismo y se propone como esta podría ser integrada dentro del análisis económico, justamente haciendo referencia a restricciones adicionales que deberían ser consideradas en este caso. A partir de algunas revisiones bibliográficas se plantean las principales limitaciones que tendrían este tipo de propuestas para implementarse. Finalmente se deja el mensaje que para que la EC funcione esta deba también tener su respectivo análisis económico. 

As in several countries in the region, Payments for Ecosystem Services were widely promoted environmental policy proposals in Peru. In 2014 a specific regulatory framework was created for it. Even though the logic was that it would impact all the economic sectors that used these services, in practice it only materialized in the public drinking water sector, specifically in the drinking water companies. The reality shows that there are still questions and pending tasks to be answered, theoretical about what negotiations can work in a certain context, generally when it was designed for private and not public, as in the Peruvian case and; practices to see its degree of replicability beyond this sector. In this context, the implementation of this type of mechanism in the Peruvian case is evaluated.

This article analyzes the considerations that must be taken into account to measure the environmental damage caused by the oil spill on the coast of Ventanilla, from an economic point of view. To do this, similar cases are reviewed and minimum considerations to be taken into account in this case are established, based on previous studies. The problems found in these contexts seem to be present in the case in question, which makes an analysis necessary if you are considering using this value for a future legal claim.

This article presents the findings obtained from the study on remuneration mechanisms for ecosystem services (MRSE), based on payments for ecosystem services that are implemented in Peru, intending to analyze how they can be applied by the provider companies of the country to ensure the permanence of benefits generated by ecosystems. The methodological approach used to analyze and detail how the implementation of the MRSE occurs and the channeling of the economic resources of these was of a qualitative descriptive type, based on the information obtained from the related documentary records of the years 2013-2019 with the water utilities that made up the sample and the interview of the actors of these companies, who were selected through an intentional-stratified sampling.
