La presente monografía está inspirada en mi experiencia de profesional de la educación, sobre todo en la realidad que he observado a nivel de los estudiantes de los diferentes centros educativos donde he laborado; observación que se ha centrado en esta competencia de la comprensión lectora de los textos. Si bien es cierto, existen diferentes métodos y estrategias para la enseñanza de la comprensión lectora, pero desde mi experiencia profesional, y valorando el aporte de un gran Ayacuchano, he visto por conveniente centrarme en realizar el presente trabajo en lo concerniente al Método Dolorier, del Profesor Ricardo Dolorier Urbano, natural de la provincia de Huanta, Región Ayacucho, quien enfatiza en la importancia de la entonación en la lectura para leer comprensivamente todo tipo de textos de las diferentes Áreas Curriculares.

A program for early aproachment of 6th to 2 months aged children was performed with 50 mothers who lived in urban-marginal communities from Piura and Lima. They had children aged 6 to 24 months, low income, and poor instruction. They were enabled and trained in use with handbook “Stimulating your child means aiding him to learn with love”. Children´s development was assessed before training their mothers and two months later. At former 26.9% children were at Risk level and further in lowed at 7.7%. Meaning improvement was found in some areas, i.e., success in expressive language increased to 76.9% from 53.9%.
