En la presente investigación se determinó la relación entre el movimiento interno del agua y la temperatura foliar sobre los movimientos foliares nictinásticos de Senna versicolor durante el periodo diurno y nocturno. Por ello, se seleccionaron 10 individuos y 5 pares de foliolos al azar, tomando datos cada dos horas desde las 5h hasta las 19h por 14 días, en donde se midieron los ángulos foliares con un transportador; la temperatura foliar mediante el termómetro infrarrojo; y se extrajeron muestras de foliolos para su posterior pesado y calculo indirecto del potencial hídrico a través del método gravimétrico.
