We study natural supersymmetric scenarios with light right-handed neutrino superfields, and consider the possibility of having either a neutrino or a sneutrino as a dark matter candidate. For the former, we evaluate the possibility of having SUSY corrections on the ν4→ν γ decay rate, such that the NuStar bounds are relaxed. We find that corrections are too small. For sneutrino dark matter, we consider thermal and nonthermal production, taking into account freeze-out, freeze-in, and super-weakly interacting massive particles mechanisms. For the nonthermal case, we find that the νR can reproduce the observed relic density by adjusting the R-sneutrino mass and Yukawa couplings. For the thermal case, we find the need to extend the model in order to enhance sneutrino annihilations, which we exemplify in a model with an extended gauge symmetry. © 2020 authors. This paper describes a novel multi-task allocation method for the autonomous navigation to improve the efficiency for executing mission considering an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) developed by the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (PUCP). The new method is developed based upon the self-organizing map (SOM) algorithm, with the consideration of the priorities of the sample stations that USV need to visit, as well as the lattice distances from the sample stations to the start point. Using this new method, an optimized order of visiting sequence can be calculated according to the battery energy limit of the USV. The new multi-task allocation method has been verified in simulation environments with results proving the effectiveness and capabilities of the system.

Bacterial aminophenylpyrrole-derived alkaloids (APPAs) represent high value lead compounds. Pyrrolnitrin, which was developed into globally important fungicides, is the only reported APPA produced by Proteobacteria. Recently, various APPAs showing diverse bioactivities were discovered from Bacteroidetes. Here, a bioinformatics and phylogenetic approach enabled the elucidation of the biosynthesis of the highly diverse APPAs in Cytophagales bacteria and their chemical diversification strategy. The biosynthetic gene clusters were identified in producer strains, and the biosynthesis was experimentally validated by heterologous expression experiments in E. coli. First, one enzyme-dependent biosynthetic step yields the tryptophan-derived precursor 3-(2′-aminophenyl)-pyrrole. Second, a spontaneous Pictet–Spengler-like coupling reaction enables the bacterial producer strains to create a libr...

This paper presents the methods that have participated in the SHREC’20 contest on retrieval of surface patches with similar geometric reliefs and the analysis of their performance over the benchmark created for this challenge. The goal of the context is to verify the possibility of retrieving 3D models only based on the reliefs that are present on their surface and to compare methods that are suitable for this task. This problem is related to many real world applications, such as the classification of cultural heritage goods or the analysis of different materials. To address this challenge, it is necessary to characterize the local ”geometric pattern” information, possibly forgetting model size and bending. Seven groups participated in this contest and twenty runs were submitted for evaluation. The performances of the methods reveal that good results are achieved with a number of t...
