The following article intends to highlight, by way of reflection, the philosophical constants that we can find in social and Andean studies. Gilson maintains in his work The Philosophical Constants that all philosophical positions can be summarized in two great currents, which would be, in our opinion, immanentism and philosophical realism. In this sense, we will show how both positions are expressed in social studies, and we will point out some central themes for said reflection; At the same time, we will highlight the need for a realistic philosophical foundation to carry out Andean studies. To achieve this goal, we have taken into account the publications that have been carried out in recent decades in the Allpanchis Phuturinqa journal.
