FACULTAD DE FARMACIA Y BIOQUÍMICA i RESUMEN Los estudios de utilización de medicamentos se han convertido en una herramienta útil para determinar cuáles son los patrones, perfiles y otras características de uso en la práctica clínica de los medicamentos y en especial de los antimicrobianos, cuyo uso inadecuado está llevando al incremento de la resistencia antibacteriana. En el presente trabajo se ha realizado un estudio de consumo de un antimicrobiano de reserva como es la vancomicina, con la finalidad de aportar información acerca de cómo ha ido evolucionando el consumo de este antimicrobiano a nivel hospitalario durante los años 2009-2011. ABSTRACT The Pharmacist of the pharmaceutical office has an important role in patient orientation regarding the proper use of their medications, being necessary to provide tools that support their training. To meet this need, the present study was proposed whose objective was to design and apply a clinical practice guide for the management of drug interactions from the pharmaceutical office.
