The work was developed in the community of Manacamiri located on the left bank of the Nanay River near the city of Iquitos, during the year 2021, the data recording was done through the application of surveys and in situ observations, the type of research was qualitative-quantitative, the social and economic conditions of the interviewed population and their perceptions about the conditions of the natural resources of their community are described, concluding; that the use and conservation of woody resources are being extracted for diferente uses but in greater percentage for the production of firewood and charcoal, they also extract for other uses such as the construction of their homes, for medicinal use, etc., On the other hand, the marketing of products and the desire to reforest their secondary forests are described.
