The present investigation was converted for the purpose of, the environmental impacts that generate the tree of solid waste in an open sky in the Rambrán farmhouse, which receives the waste produced in the City of Chota; A descriptive and causal comparative study was carried out between July and December 2017, with a survey of the 120 inhabitants living in the hamlet in order to immerse themselves in the daily life of the community and have a clear perception of the dump. Con el objetivo de determinar los impactos ambientales que genera el botadero ubicado en el caserío Rambrán, donde se disponen los residuos sólidos producidos en la ciudad de Chota; se realizó está tesis. Primero se georreferencio la ubicación y se midió la distancia del centro de la ciudad al botadero usando Google Earth (1.63 KM), luego se determinó el volumen, característica de los residuos depositados en el botadero a través de la segregación en varias dependencias en la ciudad, para identificar y valorar los impactos ambientales se siguió el Método de Conesa Simplificado, siendo el diseño de investigación cuantitativo, no experimental, de corte transversal descriptivo, así como proponer un plan de manejo de los residuos sólidos.
