The present essay aims to contribute to the debate on whether the mixed economy can be compatible with a system of liberal socialism. That is, if the coexistence of private and public agents in the economy can promote a model that is based on the development of individual freedoms and equal opportunities. For this reason, a historical review was carried out in the political and economic field to look for both theoretical and empirical background of experiences on this subject. First showing the compatibility between liberalism with socialism, and later, describing mixed economies such as China, France, Argentina and the United States in specific stages of their economic growth. Finally, complement with other suggestions so that a complete economic system typical of liberal socialism can be formed.

The present work shows the economic proposal of important representatives of socialism, where the defense for communal property, cooperatives and social enterprises stands out, all framed within a self-management system; thus moving away from a statist economy. In addition, it is evident that Marx was a critic of the State, for which reason he did not defend a state economy, but rather one based on cooperatives connected in a Great Union exemplified in the Paris Commune, and his proposal for a State was a proletarian one, of participatory and democratic type, very far from statist dictatorships that have falsely used his name as a source of inspiration, and that instead of having implanted a socialist model they executed a state capitalism. The main objective of this essay is to show the main characteristics of informal employment in Peru before the bicentennial. From the review of various studies in this regard, it can be concluded that informal workers in the country are characterized by low income, low productivity and low educational level. In addition, everything would indicate that informality in Peru is structural, so reforms such as reducing taxes, costs and formalization procedures will only have marginal effects. The solution would be centered mainly on diversifying production, stimulating demand and increasing productivity in smaller production units, which is where most of the informal workers are concentrated.

Around a third of food is lost and wasted in the world each year, while close to 650 million people suffered from malnutrition before the pandemic. In Peru, 12.8 million tons of food end up being wasted every year. For that reason the food banks appeared, whose purpose is to deliver food to people in need thanks to the recovery of groceries that were going to be lost or wasted. The present research describes the operation of the Food Bank of Peru in its process of recovery and delivery food. Among the results found, the efficiency in the delivery of food stands out, thus saving resources, thanks to the application of cross docking, which allows to the organization to carry out their functions without the need of an own warehouse.
