In this article it is proposed, firstly, that the words used by collectors of comics action figures are not registered in the Diccionario de la lengua española [Dictionary of the Spanish Language] (DLE). This is made clear by an analysis of the configuration of linguistic formation processes, including semantic, morphophonological and social ones. Therefore, the main objective is to propose a linguistic analysis of these terms and thus demonstrate that their lexicon is different from the lexicographical proposal. In order to achieve this objective, a methodology in accordance on the lexicographic technique is used: acquisition of lexemes recorded in lexicographic cards, observation of the context and use of the words, as well as a review of bibliographic sources on linguistic theories.
