To determine the prevalence of hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia cerebrovascular disease in adult patients the hospital Belen of Trujillo between 2008 and 2012. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The design studied corresponds to a descriptive retrospective cross-sectional study. For data collection medical records of patients with CVD hospitalized in H.B.T, who met the inclusion criteria they were reviewed. RESULTS: The medical records of 354 patients were included. Of these, 55.08% were men .In relation to the types of stroke was obtained 76.27% of the patients suffered from ischemic CVD and 23.73% of the patients suffered from hemorrhagic CVD.
