La presente investigación tiene como finalidad demostrar de que forma la planeación estratégica institucional tiene relación con la toma de decisiones de los funcionarios de la Municipalidad Provincial de la Ciudad de Huánuco, año 2019. La tesis de investigación pertenece al enfoque cuantitativo y el diseño es no experimental, en la cual se aplicó el instrumento de la encuesta para poder recolectar la información, perteneciente a la técnica encuesta de opinión para conocer la percepción de las variables de estudio, de los funcionarios de la MPHCO. Objective. Demonstrate the relationship between the planeation strategic institutional and the making-decisions of the officials in the Provincial Municipality of Huánuco (MPHCO), in the 2019. Methods. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental design was employed. It applied a survey as instrument to collect information using the  technique of survey of opinion to capture the perception of the study variables between the officials of the MPHCO. Results. It's obtained a value correlational of 0,223 using Spearman's statistical method. This result evidence a correlation positive of level low between the variables of the research: planeation strategic institutional and making-decisions of the officials in the Provincial Municipality of Huánuco, in 2019.
