El desarrollo del presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional tuvo como objetivo disminuir los costos de mantenimiento de una empresa bloques de concreto en el año 2019 a partir del uso de la metodología de Análisis de Modo y Efecto de Falla (AMEF) y la mejora general de la gestión de mantenimiento. Se eligió la metodología AMEF, la cual consiste en analizar los equipos, sus componentes, sus modos y efectos de falla, así como también las consecuencias de estos y su nivel de riesgo. En este análisis se dio a conocer que los equipos evaluados presentaban un nivel de riesgo crítico, este nivel fue validado con un análisis de criticidad a la par.
