Objectives: Determine the level of physical activity (PA) and the factors associated with the low level of PA among public transport workers in smaller motorized vehicles of North Lima. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study. The population was constituted by workers of both sexes dedicated to public transport services by vehicles denominated "mototaxi", in the districts of Lima North, such as Comas, Carabayllo, Independencia and Los Olivos. The short form of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) was used. Results: Participants were 298 workers with a mean age of 35.21 years (SD = 11.32, Min: 16, Max: 68 years). Males represented 94% (n = 280) and women 6% (n = 18). The low level of PA was presented in 51.7% (n = 154); 40.9% (n = 122) Moderate PA and 7.4% (n = 22) High level of PA.
