The objective of the study was to establish the relationship between emotional intelligence and pedagogical management in teachers of public institutions in Lima. The approach used was quantitative, with a descriptive-correlational and cross-sectional design. The sample was made up of 40 initial level teachers from three public institutions of the UGEL 04. The instruments applied were the Reuven Bar-On Emotional Intelligence Inventory and the Pedagogical Management Scale, both validated and with reliability measurement. To analyze the evaluation between the variables, Spearman's Rho evaluation coefficient was used. The analysis considered an evaluation of 0.269, which indicates a weak positive relationship between emotional intelligence and pedagogical management.
