El estudio permitió analizar la relación existente entre la adquisición de conceptos y destrezas de Precálculo y el logro de competencias en el área lógico-matemática en alumnos del 1° grado de Primaria del distrito de Lurigancho. Se trabajó con una muestra de 182 estudiantes de ambos sexos, seleccionados mediante la técnica de muestreo intencional y probabilístico, a los cuales se les aplicó la Prueba de Precálculo de Milicic y Schmidt y la Prueba de Lógico-Matemática del Primer Grado elaborada por la Dirección de Educación Inicial y Primaria del Ministerio de Educación. Se plantearon diez hipótesis de trabajo en función a las áreas que evalúa la prueba de Precálculo, adicionalmente, se enunció una hipótesis comparativa en relación al sexo de los sujetos muestreados.

In order to determine the relationship between knowledge of the Preferential School Subsidy Law and the use of educational improvement plans by teachers and principals of municipal schools in Iquique, Chile. For this purpose, we used a descriptive-correlational research, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. In the educational institutions approached, on the one hand, a sample of 92 teachers was chosen from a universe of 120; and, on the other hand, the entire population of (05) principals was selected, who were surveyed through a questionnaire of forty items, with mixed scaling and pre-coded by levels; the aforementioned instrument was validated and had a very high reliability, Cronbach's Alpha 0.907.
