The objective of this report was to determine the relationship between cultural identity and tourist awareness in the residents of the Centro Poblado Santo Tomás, Iquitos 2023. An applied approach, descriptive-correlational level and a non-experimental design was used, and it was evaluated at a population of 363 residents (heads of household) taking as a sample 187 to whom it was applied using an item questionnaire as a data collection tool. The results show that cultural identity is very high (55%), this is because the inhabitants are completely in favor of promoting cultural and tourist awareness among the members of the town, as well as carrying out cultural exchanges with other communities.
