El objetivo de esta investigación es proponer un modelo de gestión para la implementación de los servicios de medicina alternativa (MA) en los centros de salud de la ciudad de Tacna. Es un trabajo de tipo aplicada, mixto, con diseño transversal, descriptivo y la propuesta de un modelo de gestión. La muestra fue 8 gerentes y ocho centros de salud; Se usó como instrumento una ficha de observación y entrevista de 25 ítems para evaluar la implementación actual del servicio de M.A, y 2 ítems para verificar alguna práctica de M.A. Los resultados reportan que el 100% de C.S no implementaron aun el servicio de M.A, el 50% de los C.S sus médicos realizan algunas prescripciones con M.A; el 37,5 % nunca y un 12,50% siempre; el 75,0% de los C.S no cuentan con alianzas con otras instituciones que brinde servicios de M.A, el 12,5% de C.S refieren al paciente al EsSalud para recibir atenciÃ...
