The study allows evaluating its structure and assessing the impact on the mitigation of greenhouse gases and aims to estimate the biomass and carbon stored in forest plantations of Simarouba amara "marupa" and Cedrelinga cateniformes Ducke "tornillo" of CIEFOR, Puerto Almendra, Faculty of Forestry Sciences of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon. The plantations of S. amara "marupa", those of 43 years old have an average of 0.24 m of DBH and a height of 18.90 m; of 27 years old have an average of 0.23 m of DBH and a height of 22.49 m and of 34 years old have an average of 0.26 m of DBH and a height of 18.86 m.
