The objective of the research was: To relate study habits and learning achievement in the area of communication in students in the fifth grade of primary school at the IE “Carlos Patricio Olórtegui Sáenz” in the district of Ramón Castilla, during the 2023 school year. This research work involved the participation of 162 to whom a 15-question questionnaire was applied and of whom a documentary analysis was carried out through an evaluation form. The study is relational, field, correlational, transectional and non-experimental. It was concluded that Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient (r=0.752) indicates a high positive relationship, which implies that students with better study habits are more likely to achieve superior academic achievements in the area of communication.
