Androconial organs on terga IV, V, VI and VII in species of the genus Theages Walker, 1855 are described, including its morphology and interspecific variation.

In this work I present four new synonymies at the species level of Ctenuchini and Euchromiini (Arctiidae) based on examination of primary type material.

A list of 80 species of Arctiidae and 17 of Sphingidae recorded until now at the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary, Cuzco, Perú, is presented herein, indicating their altitudinal distribution.

Seven new Arctiini (Erebidae: Lepidoptera) are reported for Peru. Some of the species are rare among collections. Each new report belongs to different genera and the species given for each genus are those occurring in Peru, according to collections and literature references from their original descriptions. A new synonym is also reported for Agyrtiola niepeltiGaede, 1926.

The species Hypanartia splendida Rothschild, 1903 was described from Perú, without giving further information about its type locality. After 105 years, the April 6 2008, a male specimen was collected at the upper parts of Yanachaga-Chemillén National Park, Pasco, Peru. This is the first specimen with precise collection data.

The adult male and its genitalia are described and illustrated for Coiffaitarctia imperatrix, new species of Phaegopterina (Arctiini) found in the Peruvian Amazon.

Adult males of a new species of Euchromiina (Arctiini), Histioea magistrae, from southeastern Amazonia, Peru, are described, illustrated and compared to the similar species Histioea hoffmannsi Rothschild, 1911.

Rhipha ignea, a new species from department Loreto, Peruvian Amazonia, is described and illustrated.

The genus Cresera Schaus, 1894 comprises 12 species, 8 of which occur in Peru. A recognition diagnosis based on wings coloring characters is given for the species on this genus as well as the geographic distribution patterns for Peru.

Three new species of the genus Theages Walker, 1855 (Lepidoptera: Erebidae: Arctiini) occurring in the montane forests of the Andes of Peru and Ecuador are described and illustrated.

A preliminary list and diagnosis of the Arctiinae species of Arequipa is presented. It is proposed that Amastus pallescens is a new synonym of Amastus cellularis. The female of A. cellularis is reported for the first time. The Magnoptera watsoni species was revalidated, which was synonimized a few years ago with Amastus walkeri. It was collected during 2017-2018, in 16 evaluation stations that included 4 altitudinal ranges: 0-1500, 1500-2500, 2500-3500, 3500-4500 m.

For the department of Loreto, 113 species of Euchromiina (Lepidoptera: Arctiinae) are recorded. In addition, 9 new records are reported for Peru: Sphecosoma abnormis, Isanthrene profusa, Autochloris collocata, A. consociata, Andrenimorpha lycopolis, Leucotmemis torrida, Cosmosoma contracta, Pseudomya biradiata and P. cretheis. Two new synonyms are proposed: Diptilon aurantiipes Rothschild as a junior synonym for Sphecosoma abnormis Hampson; Isanthrene flavizonata Gaede as a junior synonym for Tigrinadia quadricincta Kaye. This last species for now is known only from Peru. A new type of androconial organ is described in the ventral part of the abdomen.

A new species Rhodorhipha dalyi sp. nov. from Peru (Tambopata river, Madre de Dios, Peru) is described and illustrated. The species is part of a complex of similar species related to R. subflammans (Rothschild). La especie Hypanartia splendida Rothschild, 1903 fue descrita de Perú, no proporcionándose más datos acerca de la localidad tipo. Luego de 105 años, el 6 de abril de 2008, un ejemplar macho fue colectado en la parte alta del Parque Nacional Yanachaga-Chemillén, Pasco, Perú. Este es el primer ejemplar que cuenta con datos exactos de colecta.
