Gummy smile (GS) is a clinical condition of multifactorial etiology, characterized by overexposure of the maxillary gingiva greater than 3mm while the patient smiles. It is considered one of the most common alterations among the population with a prevalence between 10,5-29%, 7% in men and 14% in women, in the age group of 20-30 years-old. The scientific literature reports several invasive and minimally invasive surgical treatments that can be accompanied with digital planning.
