This research analyzes the relevance of socioeconomic factors that influence the decision to undertake. To this end, a quantitative study, correlational level and non-experimental design with cross-sectional data was developed, which included as a study population the statistical records of the employed labor force with at least 25 years of age residing in the province of Maynas during the year 2023. After applying a probabilistic regression model, it was determined that the probability of developing a business venture in this context is 8.43% and that this probability increases as the person has access to the internet, is employed a greater number of hours a week; otherwise, it decreases if the person is from an economically vulnerable household.
