The main objective of this analysis was to determine the relationship between research skills and learning achievements of the inquiry competence in students of the VII cycle in the area of science and technology of the I.E. Liceo Naval, Punchana 2025. Methodologically, it was framed in a type of basic research with a transversal non-experimental design. The research considered a population of 105 students, of which the total population was covered. For data collection, the survey was carried out as a questionnaire technique for the variables in the analyzed area, which was validated by specialists in the field.
