En este artículo nos proponemos destacar las estrechas relaciones que Vallejo mantuvo con España, en términos históricos, literarios, antes de su viaje a Europa y durante su permanencia en el Viejo Mundo. Rastrearemos las fases de su contacto con España, primero en forma epistolar y luego con su presencia personal en la península, durante la cual estrechó lazos con autores españoles, publicó algunos libros y textos y llegó a comprometerse con la causa de la República Popular y creó su gran poemario España, aparta de mí este cáliz (1939).

Considering that the entire written work by César Vallejo has been read and analyzed by national and international literary criticism, we propose to highlight the importance of The Black Heralds (1919) in the whole of this work and underline the thematic and expressive constants between the aforementioned collection of poems and Vallejiana production in verse and prose, literary, academic and journalistic. In this work I will use the category of intertextuality to establish with precision and in a well-founded way the connections that exist between the 1919 book and the works that the author published in life and those that have been published posthumously, signifivantly increasing his literary corpus. As appropriate, I will consult exhaustively the relevant bibliography about this topic.

In the following pages, we propose to approach, in part, the poetic world of the book Trilce (1922), by César Vallejo. We will concentrate on the exegesis of two poems of the aforementioned volume: «II» and «V», which are exemplary expressions of Vallejo's great vision of temporality and the love relationship. The title of the article is intended to emphasize the need to read with freedom, which is why we have established a special relationship between Trilce and Rayuela, since we understand that these two books demand an active, participatory, and creative reader.

En nuestro trabajo, proponemos la relectura de un texto (con tres partes) que el tradicionista Ricardo Palma titula “La Protectora y la Libertadora”, que está dedicado a evocar y evaluar las vidas de Rosa Campusano y Manuela Sáenz, quienes se identificaron con la lucha por la independencia americana, a la vez que fungieron de amantes de José de San Martín y de Simón Bolívar, respectivamente. Por este último motivo recibieron críticas y sendos apodos. La posteridad las ha reivindicado.

Basándose en algunos modelos y conceptos de la semiótica narrativa greimasiana, se realiza un análisis del cuento «Silvio en El Rosedal», de Julio Ramón Ribeyro. Se destaca, en especial, las relaciones actanciales entre el protagonista, Silvio Lombardi (Sujeto del Deseo) y la casa hacienda «El Rosedal» (Objeto del Deseo), a través de las cuales el primero consigue encontrar y realizar con plenitud el sentido de la vida, mediante recorridos espaciales y cognoscitivos.

In this paper we approach some poems of Gioconda Belli’s book, El Ojo de la Mujer (1991), where she recognizes that the creation of woman was the responsibility of God and that God built her outwardly and inwardly so that she, in turn, could serve the function of being “a workshop of human beings”. For this reason, she vindicates her condition as a woman and, in many poems, reiterates the vital role she played in the work of creation. Gioconda Belli gives special value to this mission, as part of the vindication of women of today, using an agile, fluid, metaphorical, transparent, clear and poetry appealing to both men and women.
