GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of nebulized saline solution at 3% and 0.9% in infants hospitalized for bronchiolitis at the Hospital ESSALUD III Iquitos 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A quantitative cross-sectional design study will be carried out and data collection has been planned to be retrospective. It will involve 90 infants between 2 months to 2 years of which there are medical records and hospital stay, oxygen therapy requirement and ventilation will be evaluated. It will be discussed in SPSS v 25. CONCLUSIONS: Airway inflammation is characteristic in infants with acute bronchiolitis. 3% hypertonic saline may reduce pathological changes and reduce airway obstruction in contrast to 0.9% presentation.
