The objective of this research was to determine how motivation is related to job satisfaction of the staff of the District Municipality of San Juan Bautista, year 2022. The type of correlational descriptive research with a quantitative approach, of non-experimental design, was used, the population of 200 and the sample of 54 workers. The result was obtained that shows us a Pearson correlation value equal to 0.500, which indicates an average positive correla-tion, the sigma value (bilateral) is 0.000; the calculated p-value is = 0.05. If the calculated p-value is greater than or equal to 0.05, for which the Ha is ac-cepted. According to the value obtained, we confirm that the Ha is accepted, then it was concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, which shows us that the relationship is positive mean between the two study variables.
