In this paper entitled "hippuric acid as an indicator of exposure to toluene in workers footwear district of El Porvenir-Trujillo" whose objectives are: Quantify hippuric from urine samples acid, compare whether the concentration found in the samples urine is within permissible limits provided by WHO, demonstrated by graphs the relationship between the concentration of hippuric acid with working hours, years working, age groups, protective measures, symptoms and labor section of the worker; we worked with 53 urine samples from workers footwear El Porvenir, who often use special adhesives and are in contact with terokal, which in its chemical composition has substances such as toluene, benzene and other toxic substances. Quantification of hippuric acid in urine samples by the titration method and Weichselbaum Probstein average value was 1.37 g / L, with no significant indicator of exposur...

The present work the causes of the pharmaceutical products returned to a Drugstore, the destination of these returned products and the corrective measures before the client are evaluated. The study was carried out by means of a descriptive, transversal and retrospective design, based on a procedure for the drugstore. According to what we work, the sample of the cause of return with the highest percentage is for surplus merchandise (32%), followed soon by expiration (23%), billing error (16%), failure of origin (14%), product in poor condition (11%) and finally by health alert (5%). Regarding the destination of returned products, 48% were admitted to the Approved Area, followed by the Area of Exchanges and Returns (41%) and in the third place to the Area of Losses and Refusals (11%). As for corrective measures, 84% of all returned products were resolved through the respective exchange, wh...

This research work, was aimed to evaluate the in vitro effect of honey from Apis mellifera against Escherichia coli and Candida albicans, determining the physico-chemical characteristics, secondary metabolites and determine the minimum concentration inhibitory (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (CMB) of honey from Apis mellifera against Escherichia coli and Candida albicans; coming from the province San Ignacio, Department of Cajamarca-Peru, all the physicochemical tests are within the standards set by the Codex Alimentarius and the National Honey Board. The values of the free acidity was 19.5 meq/kg of honey ± 1.31, moisture 19.4%, activity diastase 12 on the scale of Goethe ± 0.58, ash 0.824 g / 100g of honey ±0. 07 and reducing sugars 66.8g / 100g of honey ± 1.85; In addition the pH 4.18 ± 0.20, 1.44 g/mL ± 0.05, total solids density was 80.6%, index of refraction 1.48...
