Objective: Determine the relationship between the budget execution of financial transfers from the SIS (Seguro Integral de Salud) and the availability of medical supplies in third-level establishments of the Ministry of Health of Metropolitan Lima. Material and method: Analytical and cross-sectional study, carried out in the 20 level III establishments of the MINSA in Lima; Likewise, documentary information was used such as Closing Minutes of Financial Supervision of the Macroregional Management of the SIS from which information on budget execution was obtained and the availability of medical supplies was obtained from the Mundo IPRESS web portal (Institutions Providing Health Services). Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre ejecución presupuestal de transferencias financieras del SIS y disponibilidad de suministros médicos en establecimientos de tercer nivel del Ministerio de Salud de Lima Metropolitana. Metodología: Se realizó un estudio analítico y transversal usando los datos obtenidos del portal del SIS y por solicitud bajo la ley de transparencia del Mundo IPRESS. La ejecución presupuestal se describió en forma general y por componentes hasta fase devengado del 2022. La disponibilidad de suministros se calculó como el cociente producto de dividir el stock disponible del medicamento evaluado entre su consumo promedio mensual ajustado; asimismo, estima la correlación de Spearman general y por componentes.
