Describe la biología reproductiva del ave endémica Geositta peruviana, “Minero peruano” en la Zona Reservada Lomas de Ancón, departamento de Lima, Perú. Se tomaron datos de aspectos reproductivos: periodo reproductivo (incubación y periodo de polluelos dentro del nido), características de nidos, éxito reproductivo, cuidado parental y distribución de nidos. Para obtener estos datos, se realizaron visitas mensuales al área de estudio entre noviembre del 2016 y noviembre del 2017, en búsqueda de actividad reproductiva. Se utilizaron dos cámaras sonda de tres y cinco metros de longitud para inspeccionar los nidos y evaluar el número de huevos y polluelos, siendo más frecuente la inspección durante la temporada reproductiva. Birds are an important group in the fauna of the wetland of the Pantanos de Villa Wildlife Refuge, Lima, Peru. Th e Passeriformes that are specialists in this wetland, such as Wren-like rushbird [Phleocryptes melanops (Vieillot, 1817)] and the Many-colored rush tyrant [Tachuris rubrigastra (Vieillot, 1817)], make their nests in the wetland vegetation. Th erefore, its reproduction and its relationship with vegetation were studied in this research. Nests of both species were searched between May to October 2022 in the Génesis lagoon, and in the Mayor Lagoon.
