Los terremotos representan aproximadamente el 50% de las muertes causadas por eventos naturales a nivel mundial, lo que resalta la necesidad de evaluar la vulnerabilidad sísmica reforzando edificaciones vulnerables y proteger la vida de la población. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la vulnerabilidad sísmica de viviendas de albañilería no ingenieril en Lima Metropolitana mediante el desarrollo de curvas de fragilidad. La metodología se basa en una base de datos experimental de muros de albañilería confinada no ingenieril. Se establecieron tipologías de viviendas y su clasificación taxonómica para definir el nivel de exposición. Las curvas de capacidad por piso se obtuvieron mediante el modelo tetralineal, aplicando diez registros sísmicos escalados y realizando análisis no lineal tiempo historia.
