El presente estudio de investigación es de tipo aplicada, cuantitativo, no experimental, de corte transversal con diseño correlacional; tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre el autocuidado y la calidad de vida en pacientes con diabetes en un establecimiento de salud I-2 de Trujillo, 2023. La muestra estuvo constituida por 70 pacientes que acuden regularmente al programa de diabetes del Centro Médico de Huanchaco. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó dos instrumentos, el primero un cuestionario para medir el nivel de autocuidado en pacientes con diabetes mellitus 2 y otro para medir la calidad de vida llamado “Diabetes 39”.
