El presente trabajo defiende la existencia de un paralelo entre la estructura de la actividad demiúrgica, tal como es presentada en el discurso cosmológico del diálogo platónico Timeo, y la actividad del filósofo ilustrada en ciertos pasajes del prólogo de dicho diálogo, en particular en lo referido a la constitución de la polis, así como de comunidades discursivas.
