TÍTULO: Características de Mujeres con Embarazo No Deseado por Abandono de Métodos Anticonceptivos – Instituto Especializado Materno Perinatal – 2005. OBJETIVO: Determinar las características de mujeres con embarazo no deseado por abandono de métodos anticonceptivos atendidas en el Instituto Especializado Materno Perinatal durante el año 2005. MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: Estudio Prospectivo, transversal, descriptivo. Se asignaron a 155 pacientes que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión del servicio 4 de hospitalización del Instituto Especializado Materno Perinatal durante el año 2005. RESULTADOS: el Inyectable trimestral es el método anticonceptivo mas utilizado con 53.5%, seguido por la píldora con 27.7%.
