The present study entitled: Reading habits to strengthen reading comprehension in students of 2nd grade of secondary school of the I.E. N° 18052 "Padre Blas Valera Pérez", Levanto - 2023, had as general objective to determine the strengthening of reading comprehension. The type of study was applied with a quantitative approach, with a pre-experimental design. Based on a pre-test-post-test with a single group. The population consisted of 57 enrolled students and the sample consisted of 13 second grade students. The instrument used was an objective test, graded taking into account a checklist based on achievement levels, validated by experts.
